The Dept. of Public Safety issues Driver Licenses at the Turner County Courthouse Community Room (basement level) on the first Tuesday of each month only. Schedules can change without notice. Appointments are required and can be made online or by calling 605-773-6883.

Turner County FairThe oldest county fair in the state, the Turner County Fair is a free gate four day fair in August. We pride ourselves on our wide array of 4-H exhibits, specialty food, commercial exhibits, midway, and contests that are sure to delight.
The fair gives local 4-H members the opportunity to showcase their projects while also serving as an unofficial end to summer with four fun-filled days before summer ends and school starts. Learn more from our Extension Office!
